Standards and Options<\/strong><\/h1>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

4th &\u00a05th Axis<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

All machines come standard with 4 axis (1 degree index table).\u00a0 As an option a 1\/2 degree index table is available.\u00a0\u00a0A full 4 axis contouring rotary B axis is also available.\u00a0 To add to functionality of the machine a 5th axis rotary table can also be added on top of the 4th axis.<\/span><\/h4>\n

Tool storage and tooling<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Tools\u00a0up to 5.5\" diameter and 50lbs can be stored side by side in the tool chain. \u00a0The tool chain allows for storage of oversize tools, up to 10\" diameter (with adjacent pockets empty) and also\u00a0longer tools.\u00a0 By adding a right angle tool to the machine's\u00a0tool chain, the machine is able to work on more sides of a part.\u00a0\u00a0Extreme tooling can be accommodated on part fixtures and retrieved via the CNC part program.<\/span><\/h4>\n

For most operations the standard 48 tool storage chain offers plenty of space. \u00a0If more tool storage is required a 76 tool storage chain option is available.\u00a0 The extended tool chain adds in the flexibility when machining complicated jobs or adding tool redundancy for extended production runs.\u00a0The 76 tool option allows a full tool complement\u00a0for machining operations on a multi pallet machine.\u00a0 Extra tools allow for fewer setups between jobs saving time and adding to profitability.<\/h4>\n

Chip Conveyors<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\"chipconva\"<\/a>With a chip conveyor under the machine, the chips are automatically removed as they are cut. This option comes with control buttons located next to the operator\u00a0station for easy operation during machining.\u00a0 Ask about a programmable chip conveyor for production jobs that need the chip\u00a0conveyor to cycle on and off automatically.<\/span><\/h4>\n

Pallet Changer<\/strong><\/h3>\n

A 4-6 station pallet changer will increase the flexibility of the machining center and increase available cutting time.\u00a0 While\u00a0the machine is cutting on one pallet, a fresh part can be loaded on the second pallet. \u00a0The third pallet can be in the middle\u00a0of a new part setup and the fourth ready to run when the first pallet is finished.\u00a0 Additional automation is available with a\u00a0pallet changer.\u00a0 Using M-codes in the part program you can pick your pallet and or run all four pallets before requiring any\u00a0operator intervention to load more parts. \u00a0Using macros you can also customize how pallets and part programs are\u00a0selected and cycled automatically. \u00a0No machine should be without one.

Enclosure<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Machine enclosure provides chip and coolant containment.\u00a0 Most machine enclosures are designed to not reduce the possible part size within the machine travel\u00a0or when\u00a0cycled through the pallet change operation.<\/h4>\n

Custom Stations and Duplex Mills<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Each machine can be customized to the customer's needs.\u00a0 For example a milling station can be added to the end of\u00a0the X travel for simplified part processing.\u00a0 Duplex Mills, for some jobs two spindle are better than one. For custom\u00a0stations or duplex mills contact us.<\/span><\/h4>\n

Other Options<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Special request can be add to the machine to fit a special products or process.\u00a0 For example; a spacer between the column and the\u00a0base to facilitate the rotation of and cutting on the end of a longer part on the table.<\/span><\/h4>\n

Probe <\/strong><\/h3>\n

Probing can simplify machine set up and calibration.\u00a0 The combination of Macro programming and a probe will allow extreme flexibility for; set-up, part checking, program selection, broken\u00a0tool detection, setting offsets, and more.<\/span><\/h4>\n

HMC-200Bar\/600 - Option<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The HMC-200Bar or 600 are Q.O.R. Extra axis can be added to the HMC-600.\u00a0 Typical additions\u00a0 include a B-axis indexing table or an extra Z-axis \/ B-axis table combination.\u00a0 On the extreme you could possible add two Z\/B combinations.\u00a0 For very long parts an A-axis trunnion is available to rotate parts around the X-axis.<\/h4>\n

To position parts and hold them in place, floor plates are required and available for quote.<\/h4>\n
